  10. Buffer Overrun errors are common on PCs that have UART chips 
  11. such as the 8250 or 16450 that use a single-character buffer.
  12. For reliable communications above 9600 bps you must have
  13. a 1655x type UART chip.  To check your PC run MSD from DOS 6.x
  14. or Windows 3.x.
