- Buffer Overrun errors are common on PCs that have UART chips
- such as the 8250 or 16450 that use a single-character buffer.
- For reliable communications above 9600 bps you must have
- a 1655x type UART chip. To check your PC run MSD from DOS 6.x
- or Windows 3.x.
